(From Clark Funeral Home)Bruce Eldon Fullerton, age 79, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on January 31, 1945, in Granby, Missouri, to Neil and Ruth (Kyger) Fullerton. Bruce graduated from Diamond High School in 1963 and went on to lead a life of dedicated service and hard work.
Bruce had a fulfilling career, spending 11 years as an operating engineer at Pillsbury and another 14 years with Marriott in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Beyond his professional life, Bruce found joy in helping others and was actively involved in his community. He served as a board member of the Diamond Cemetery and managed the Diamond Senior Housing, touching the lives of many.
On September 22, 1986, Bruce married the love of his life, Glenda Testerman, in Granby, Missouri, and she survives him. Together, they shared a loving family that includes their children: Ava Potterfield (Doug) of Hannibal, Missouri; Ruthanne Fullerton of Diamond, Missouri; Anthony Williams (Tina) of Connecticut; and Frank Huffman (Tiffany) of Carl Junction, Missouri. Bruce was also blessed with 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy. Bruce is remembered fondly by his surviving sister, Gloria Fullerton of Diamond, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Ruth Fullerton, and his brothers Marvin and Ron Fullerton.
Private family services will be held at a later date to honor Bruce’s life and legacy.
