Harold McMasters

Pastor Harold Gene McMasters, of Everton, MO, departed this life on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in his home at the age of 82.

He was born on July 2, 1941 in Dadeville, MO to Horace and Geraldine (West) McMasters. Harold was born of the Spirit in September of 1951 at the close of the week revival services at the Dadeville Baptist Church and was baptized at the Kirby Ford. He began his pastoral career at the age of 15 when Brother McCoy asked him to share a message on Sunday evening church service. He graduated from Dadeville High School and graduated from Southwest Baptist University. Harold continued his education at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.








Harold pastored at churches in California and Missouri. He pastored at Main Street Baptist Church in Greenfield for many years, and was instrumental in the construction of the new church building. Harold had a great love for the Lord, his community, and his family. He never met a stranger, and wanted people to feel loved. Harold enjoyed golfing and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and his community.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Horace and Geraldine McMasters; his sister, Dixie Helvey; and one great-grandchild, Elijah Conn.








Survivors include his wife Connie McMasters; three daughters, Andrea McMasters, Amy Schmidt and husband Eric, and Jennifer Bogdanski and husband Rob; one son, Joshua McMasters; two brothers, Richard McMasters and wife Tammy, and Mike McMasters and wife Jo Ellen; ten grandchildren, Nick Herrera and wife Katherine, Krys Herrera and wife Tabitha, Samantha Conn and husband Colby, Brittani Herrera, Daniel Schmidt, Kirsten Noyola and husband Joseph, Emalee Hamilton and husband Zachary, Jocelyn Abron and husband D.J., Mary McMillan, and Madison McMasters; eight great-grandchildren, Shyanna Herrera, Nicolas Herrera Jr., Chloe Herrera, Cylas Conn, Cali Conn, Atlas Conn, Violet Garcia, and Luca Noyola; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Main Street Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Please make checks payable to Connie McMasters. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
