Milo Carter

Milo A. Carter, age 60, of Joplin passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in Joplin.

Milo, son of the late Alfred and Shirley (Roth) Carter, was born on February 11, 1964, in Torrance, CA.

Milo grew up and attended school in Webb City and Tennessee. After living in Tennessee, he moved back to the Webb City area to make his home. Throughout his life, Milo was an individual whose interests reflected his heart. He found joy in the simple pleasure of riding his bike and eating his favorite food, pizza. He had a love for animals, especially for his beloved dog, Lucy, who was his loyal companion. He loved the Lord with all his heart and found solace and strength in reading his Bible. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his siblings, Teresa Bauer, Eldon Myers, and Craig McPheeter; a sister-in-law, Robyn Coble; and several extended family members.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery with friends and family gathering at 1:00 PM at Parker Mortuary to meet for procession to the cemetery for services.
