Imogene Devins

Imogene Devins, 83, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her residence.

She was born November 6, 1941, in Joplin, Missouri.

She was a member of the Tennessee Prairie Friends Church.

She was a 1958 graduate of Seneca High School.








She received her Nursing Degree at Franklin Tech and was a longtime Nurse before her retirement and she also drove a School Bus for the Joplin R-8 School District.

She belonged to the 3 State Boat Club, Horse Trail Riders, American Paint Horse Association and the Seneca Saddle Club. She enjoyed horseback riding, boating, reading, camping, kayaking, and was an Archer back in her earlier years and was very successful at it and helped raise a four-time Champion Horse.

She married Terry Devins on October 18, 1985, in Miami, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2025.

Survivors include one son; John Rossman of Pineville, Missouri, two daughters; Robin (Keith) Zentner of Joplin, Missouri and Sheri (Terry) Bruner of Park Hill, Oklahoma, two step-sons; Terry (Camy) Devins and Trevor (Pam) Devins both of Sarcoxie, Missouri, one step-daughter; Tina Rainey of Joplin, Missouri, one brother; John A. Hoke of Joplin, Missouri, 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; Don Eric Rossman, one step-daughter; Teisha Dawn Devins, and one step-son-in-law; Joseph Rainey, one sister; Carole Newberry and one granddaughter; Tiffany Dawn Rossman and one step Great Grandson; Jordan Brock.






Services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.

A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday at Mason-Woodard Chapel.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society.

Interment will be at Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri.
