Grace E. Willis, age 88, Joplin, passed away at 10:23 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital.
Grace was born November 11, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Frank Wilton and Lydia Goff Wilton and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.
Grace worked at Lozier, Inc. for several years. She loved to sew, fish with her husband, cook and play cards. She enjoyed her family and will be missed by all that knew her.
She married Glenn A. Willis in Sarcoxie. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1987.
Grace was also preceded in death by siblings, Norman, Lois and June.
Survivors include a son, Ron Willis and his wife, Susan, Jefferson City, Missouri; a daughter, Joyce Keatts and her husband, Leroy, Lamar; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Jenni; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Nora; and a sister, Eunice Hill, Joplin.
Services are planned for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Josh Branham will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Fairview Baptist Church, both in care of Parker Mortuary.
