Paul J. Gollhofer, age 85, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. Paul was born in Sarcoxie, Missouri on September 29, 1931 to Victor and Mary Isabel Gollhofer. Paul married Mary C. Robinson on October 14, 1950 in Carthage, Missouri. Paul served in the United States Army from 1952-53 stationed in Alaska. He retired from Wal-Mart in 1994 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webb City.
Paul is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Pamela Willard (Mark), son Stephen (Pam), granddaughters Alison Dueker (Dan), Hilary Wheeler (Nick), grandsons Seth Gollhofer (Amy), Drew Gollhofer (Karla), great grand-children Ben and Jack Wheeler, Erik Dueker, Norah Gollhofer, Isabel Gollhofer and Bryson Hoffman. One brother Ray Gollhofer (Frankie).
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard, Roy, and James, sisters Elizabeth and Ada.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City with Bro. Bob Easton officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Sarcoxie Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
