Leonard Earl Warren, age 92, Asbury, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his home.
Leonard was born May 16, 1925 in Mountain View, Missouri, son of the late Early A. "Levi" Warren and Rosa Runkey Warren. He graduated from high before joining the United States Army where he served during World War II, stationed in Belgium. He worked as a commercial contractor, building many churches and buildings throughout the United States. He was the contractor that built the Fish Hatchery in Neosho among other building in this area. He retired in 1990, and moved to Asbury in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Edwards Warren of the home, son, David Warren; daughters, Karen Nichols and husband Larry, Linda Beatty and husband Bob, and Susan Wooten and husband Herby; step-children, Dusty Booth and wife Janie, Rusty Booth and wife Linda, Gaylene Corbett and husband Dan, Beth Wiggins and husband Travis; several grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. Burial of his ashes will be at a later date in Upper Falls River Cemetery, Eureka, Kansas with full military honors.
