Christine Jo Conness, Neosho, entered into rest on December 26, 2018 at the age of 59.
Christy was born in Neosho on October 9, 1959 to Virgil and Darlene (Henderson) Ball. She had lived in Neosho her entire life; she was formerly the office manager for Ozark Community Hospital and had worked the past year as timekeeper at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Christy was a member of First Baptist Church in Neosho and her family was very important to her.
She married Robert Conness on July 2, 1982 in Miami, OK; he survives of the home. She is also survived by two daughters: Melissa Steele of Reddings Mill, MO and Ashley Thomas and husband, Josh of Neosho; one brother, Mike Ball and wife, Carol of Golden, MO and one sister Kandis Pendley of Carthage, MO. Christy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marlene Allen, and Marlene’s husband, Danny.
To honor Christy, the family has requested contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Neosho, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
Private family services will be held.
