(From Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home)Elaine was born on February 28, 1949, in Cedar County, MO. She attended Vatterott College and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance. She worked at JH Collectibles for many years and the Book Store at Cottey College for many years. She was a member of the Eagles in El Dorado Springs, MO. Her hobbies included raising cattle, baking cakes, and sewing.
Elaine is survived by her mother, Nellie Hamby of Ellinwood, KS; five siblings: Donna Crow, Terry Hamby, Hazelene Clayton, Kathlene Cox and husband Howard Cox, and Billy Hamby; two children, Melissa Heidemann and her husband Kevin, of Nevada, and Brian Pyle and his wife Stefani, of Webb City; five grandchildren: Bailey Hoffman, Anthony Hoffman, Derrick Hoffman, Jordan Pyle and Tucker Pyle; and sister in law, Sandy Hamby. She was preceded in death by father, Ray Thomas Campbell; son, Thomas Pyle; and six siblings: Dorothy Alumbaugh, Raylene Keith, Barbara Carson, Linda Stevens, Dale Hamby and James Hamby.
