(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Ollie Mae Agbara, 68, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Roberson.
Ollie was born March 24,1956 in Detroit, Michigan. Her parents later relocated to Coffeyville, Kansas. She is the daughter of Floyd D. Sales and Clara (Jennings) Sales. Ollie graduated from Coffeyville High School in 1975. She was employed by the Head Start Program, Sugar Creek Inc., and Home Health Care Services, and also helped provide daycare for a host of her grandchildren for years. Mrs. Ollie enjoyed spending time with her family and was a socialite in her community. She was kind-hearted and would help anyone in need.
She is survived by her children Bernice (Damon) Stanford, Poncho (Beth) Sales, Phillip (Melissa) Wesley, Treeman (Arlene) Wesley, Frances Abernathy, Brookly Blair), and Ishman Tice. Mrs. Ollie will be missed by a host of grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs..Ollie was loved by many and will be missed by all. Miss you Grandma "O".
Her service will be held at St. John Church at 602 W. Martin St. Coffeyville, Kansas on December 14, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
