(From Clark Funeral Home)Barbra E. Ellis was born on October 9, 1948, in Neosho, Missouri, one of five children to William and Florence (Goldsmith) Gosvener.
She entered into rest on March 3, 2026, in Neosho, at the age of 77.
Barbra was a lifelong area resident and attended Neosho High School and Crowder College. She worked at La-Z-Boy in management and retired after 38 years of service.
She was of the Christian faith. Barbra enjoyed going to craft fairs with her daughter and granddaughter’s, sewing and always made a special Halloween costume for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being outdoors, often riding 4-wheels and canoeing with friends. Along with her family, Barbra had a love for her sweet fur baby, Tedi.
Barbra is survived by one daughter, Jeania Enlow and husband, Larry of Neosho; three granddaughters, Lauren Altman and husband, Patrick of Rogers, Arkansas; Mica McGee and husband, Michael of Neosho and Kaylan Enlow of Neosho; great grandchildren, Braydon Altman, Zane Altman, Selah McGee, Seth McGee and Lilleigh Rice.
Barbra is survived by one daughter, Jeania Enlow and husband, Larry of Neosho; three granddaughters, Lauren Altman and husband, Patrick of Rogers, Arkansas; Mica McGee and husband, Michael of Neosho and Kaylan Enlow of Neosho; great grandchildren, Braydon Altman, Zane Altman, Selah McGee, Seth McGee and Lilleigh Rice.
She is preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Farmer, her parents, one brother, Laverne Gosvener, sister, Carolyn Forrester and infant twin sisters, Mary Lou and Cynthia Sue Gosvener.
A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 9th, 2026 at 2 pm at the Neosho IOOF Cemetery.
Services are under the personal direction of Clark Funeral Home.
