Dick Cohu

Dick Edwin Cohu passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 74. Dick was born on February 17, 1952, in Neosho, Missouri to Mack Fadden and Helen Elizabeth (Smith) Cohu.

He attended Neosho High School where he was a member of the graduating class of 1970. He worked various jobs in the Neosho area and was an independent salesman most of his life.

Dick loved to wheel and deal and was a colorful storyteller. Not only had he never met a stranger, but he also seemed to somehow know people everywhere he went. He was a regular at the local coffee shops where he entertained other patrons with his tales. One of his favorite hangouts was Charley’s Grill.








When he took time to relax, he enjoyed the beauty of his favorite vacation destination, Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Dick was a long-time member of Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ in Neosho.

Survivors include two daughters: Dea Rush (Johnny) of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Lindsay Cohu of Miami, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Rylie Cohu, Ashlee Butler (Garett Webb), Kaylee Butler, Lexi Cohu, and Holly Smith (Cordell); one brother, Gary Cohu (Pat) of Neosho, Missouri; 5 great-grandchildren: Estrella, Genesis, Samuel, Macie, and Charlie; and three nephews: Dale Billam, David Billam, and Robert Peters.








He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Janelle Peters-Sanders and Sandra Billam.

At 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026, a Graveside Service will be held at Diamond Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ Benevolent Fund c/o Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 66 Neosho, Missouri 64850.

Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
