Kyra Mason

(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)

Kyra Jo Mason, 69, of Loma Linda, Missouri, passed away on March 2, 2026, in her home. Kyra was born on March 4, 1956, at the Aurora Hospital in Aurora, Missouri.

Kyra was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Gene Mason of Miller, Missouri, and her great-nephew, Mason Mitchell of Miller, Missouri.

Kyra is survived by four sisters, Frances Reynolds of Miller, Missouri, Daunis Bethke of Branson, Missouri, Deloris Morris of Stockton, Missouri, and Kim Palade of Branson, Missouri; one brother, Max Mason of Diamond, Missouri along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.

Kyra attended Central Elementary and Miller High School in Miller, Missouri. She was in the graduating class of 1974. During High School, Kyra was a member of Miller High School marching and concert band. She played the flute and piccolo. She also played softball.

Throughout her life, she was known to jot down some very profound and heartfelt poetry. She was a Christian and followed Pastor Melissa Scott, Faith Center out of Glendale, California. She loved reading and researching the Bible. She enjoyed many styles of music and enjoyed the occasional trip to the Casinos.

After high school, Kyra began her career in sales with Palen Music Company in Springfield, Missouri. Later, she expanded her sales experience with the Missouri Lottery. A few years later she took her experience with Palen Music and the Lottery and transitioned into selling insurance, mainly Medicare Advantage. Kyra worked for several insurance companies for a few years. However, she felt she was missing the ability to offer her clients a more personal plan. Therefore, she set out to start her own company, Response Line Insurance. At her passing, she had turned that idea into a very successful insurance company with seventeen agents working for her. She served people throughout the 4-State area. Her clients were her utmost importance, and she always provided exemplary service to them. Kyra never referred to her clients as clients, they were always her People. Kyra Mason had found her passion, and she left this earth doing what she loved!

Though deeply missed by many, Kyra’s love and legacy will live on.

A celebration of Kyra’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, Missouri, with burial to follow at the Miller Memorial Gardens.
