(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)Douglas A. Hamann, 69, of Verona passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 in his home. He was born July 9, 1956 in Waterloo, IA., the son of Harlan and Anna Mae (Gasman) Hamann. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two, sons, Scotty Stanley and Jerry Clark both of Aurora; five brothers, Dennis Hamann of Newton, IA., Dale Hamann and wife, Sue of Garden Valley, CA., Donnie Hamann and wife, Toni of Garden Valley, CA., Dean and Darren Hamann both of Maynard, IA.; three sisters, Debbie Tomaszrwski of Maynard, IA., Doris Rueber of Oelwein, IA. and Dawn Staffenhage and husband, John of Oelwein, IA; 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
