(From Fohn Funeral Home)Robert Merideth “Bobby” Frye, Jr. of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at his home.
He was born January 16, 1968 in Winfield, Illinois, the son of Robert Merideth Frye, Sr. and Emily (Moga) Frye. On September 17, 2022 in Monett, Missouri he was united in marriage to Tammy Brown, who survives. Also surviving are his four stepchildren, who he thought of as his own, son, Joshua Keener and wife Jessica of Aurora, Missouri; daughters, Kim Goetz and husband Trae of Purdy, Missouri, Whitney Delgado and husband Raymond of Purdy, Missouri and Shelia Dyer and husband Cody of Carl Junction, Missouri; sisters, Diana Merl and husband Tim of Joplin, Missouri, Jennifer Smith of Washburn, Missouri and Hiedi Wallenmeyer and husband Duane of Linn, Missouri; nine grandchildren; a niece and nephew that Bobby raised as his own, Alicia and Joey and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bobby attended school in Springfield, Missouri and was a proud graduate of Hillcrest High School. For the past fifteen years, he owned and operated Bob’s Mowing Service in Shell Knob, Missouri where he also served his community as a volunteer firefighter and first responder at Central Crossing Fire Protection District. Bobby enjoyed riding his Razor, shooting guns, hunting, and driving his remote-control cars, it truly did not take much to make him happy. Above all, Bobby treasured his family and his faith. He was a member of Lohmer Full Gospel.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 6, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor David Donaldson will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Central Crossing Fire Protection District in memory of Bobby.
