Calvin L. Pearman, 84, passed away October 19, 2015, in Carthage, MO.
Calvin was born January 25, 1931 in Iola, Kansas to Hugh Edgar Pearman and Irma Russell Pearman. Calvin was a longtime Carthage resident living here for over the past 55 years. He was a teacher and taught Math and Physics at Carthage Senior High and Math at PSU. He worked many years at Schreiber’s also. Calvin served in the United States Navy and served in the Korean War.
Calvin was united in marriage to Ruby E. Crocker July 22, 1955 in Iola, KS, for 60 years. She survives. Calvin is survived by his wife, two daughters Debra Naysee and husband Ali, and Lisa Anne Qualls and husband David; two sisters Norene Wilson, and Shirley Cahalen; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Russell Pearman.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 24, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday October 23, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be Park Cemetery Carthage, MO with full military honors. Contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Faithfull Friends Animal Advocates in Neosho in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
