Michael E. VanGrinsven, age 35, Neosho, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his home with family at his side after a brief illness.
Michael was born August 8, 1980 in Neosho, son of Gary VanGrinsven and Eva Ruark VanGrinsven. He attended Neosho Schools, and worked for H.J.E., Inc (Howard Johnson Enterprises) of Neosho for several years. He also worked as a farm hand for Mark Embrey and Bill Birch, and spent some time working for Jordan Tree Service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, or camping with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Williams VanGrinsven; his children, Ivy, Aalyia, James, and Zoey; his father, Gary VanGrinsven and wife Lois of Neosho, and a brother, Brian Ruark and wife Cindy of Neosho, and other family and many friends.
