Bobbie Joann Henry, 69, Joplin, passed away on January 13, 2019.
Bobbie was born July 22, 1949 in St. Joseph, MO to George and Bertha (Shepard) Herrington. She lived most of her life in Joplin and surrounding communities. Bobbie worked as a CNA for area nursing homes. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, sewing, going to flea markets, and traveling with friends. Bobbie attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She and Douglas “Mick” Henry were married August 3, 1967 in Neosho, MO; he survives. Bobbie is also survived by her children, Michael Henry and wife, Stephanie of Lees Summit, MO and Michelle Price and husband, James, of Stark City, MO; sister, Debra Higgs of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Herrington.
Services will be 10 am, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO; Reverend Johnny Wilkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby, MO. Visitation will precede services at the Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho on Thursday, beginning at 9 am.
