Thomas Edward Walton was born June 22, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Ronald and Jerri (Johnston) Walton. He entered into rest on January 28, 2019 at his home in Joplin, Missouri, following a short illness at the age of 63.
Tom worked at the Burnstein-Rains Advertising Agency in Kansas City as graphic artist and then owned and operated Pla-mor Lounge in Joplin, Missouri, until its closing in 2014. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gardening and flowers and antique cars.
Tom and Timothy Baker were married on June 12, 2016 in Joplin and Tim survives of the home. Additional survivors include a daughter, Kortney Brown and a sister, Sandy Rickhard. Tom is preceded in death by his parents.
