Nancy Reynolds

Nancy Jo Reynolds, age 67, Webb City, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.

Nancy was born May 8, 1951 in Joplin to the late Chester Claude Reynolds, Sr. and Maxine Ruth Windecker Reynolds and had lived in the Joplin area all of her life.

Nancy attended Carl Junction schools and graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a degree in sociology.

She worked as a certified alcohol and drug counselor for Ozark Center, New Direction, Lafayette House and the Freeman Care Unit. Nancy loved fishing, crafts, woodworking and her family. She was a member of AA since 1980. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her.




Survivors include her daughters, Jody Nelson and Milissa Burns; two adopted daughters, Tracy Widick and Crystal Pippin; a sister, Cindy Thomas; two brothers, Chester Reynolds, Jr. and Billy Reynolds; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Reynolds and a great grandchild.

Nancy has been taken for medical research. No formal services are planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
