William H. Highley, Jr., 86 passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital.
He was born on October 19, 1932 in Oronogo, Missouri to William H. Highley, Sr. and Thelma (Zigler) Highley. William retired from Missouri Steel Castings, and was a United States Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War.
He married Freida (Minkler) Highley on November 28, 1994 in Joplin, Missouri and she survives at the home. William is also survived by his sons, Mike Highley and Steve Highley; a daughter, Connie McCoy; step-son, Rick Fullerton; step-daughter, Teresa Cannon; a brother, Jack Highley; a sister, Doris Jean Guinn; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
William has been taken for cremation and the family will have a private interment at a later date.
