(From Brenner Mortuary)Jimmy Joe Saia, 78, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on April 02, 2024, at Medicalodge of Pittsburg in Pittsburg, KS.
Jimmy was born on October 21, 1945, to Philip and Carmen (Turlot) Saia in Pittsburg, Kansas. He attended Arma schools and graduated from Arma High School in 1963. In 1966 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1969.
On September 3, 1970, he was united in marriage to Linda Rhodes and they later divorced.
Jimmy worked as a Union Welder and a Pipe Fitter for many years. He was married to Marti Johnson and they divorced. He also married Vicki Baugh and they divorced. Jimmy loved fishing, model airplanes, and restoring his 63 Chevy.
He is survived by a son, Scott Saia (Lisa Jordan) of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Stephanie Brill (Steve) of Seneca, MO; a stepson, Stephen Wosel; and one sister, Carol Gates of Girard, KS; 7 grandchildren, Olivia Saia, Michael Saia, Aaron Brill, Alaina Brill, Avery Brill, Alex Brill, and Maggie Wosel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, William "Bill" Saia and Richard Dean Saia.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Brenner Mortuary. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary. Memorial donations can be made to Wesley House. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
