Mary Studyvin

Mary Ruth Studyvin, age 83, of Joplin, Mo. Passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Freeman Hospital after an illness.

Mary was born February 7th, 1941 in Diamond, Mo., to Walter & Clero (Gum) Ryno. She graduated from Neosho High School in 1959 and was a lifetime area resident. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She worked at Famous Barr, Heligmeyers Furniture and Motorola.

Mary married Vernon Dean Studyvin on March 27, 1959 in Neosho, Mo., and he preceded her in death May 25, 2016. Survivors include three sons, Durran Studyvin of Duenweg, Mo., Hoby Studyvin and wife Treasa of Duenweg, Mo., Ben Studyvin and wife Tracey of Joplin, Mo.; one daughter, Tamra Sparks and husband Jon of Neosho, Mo.; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Ruby Studyvin.

A Memorial Visitation will be 6-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
