(From Ozark Funeral Home)Clayton Delbert Henson, January 25, 1933 - April 19, 2024, passed away peacefully at his residence of Mt. Vernon Veterans Home. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita, and three children: Teri Moore, Traci (Rocky) House, and Tige (Robyn) Henson. He was preceded in death by his son Tim Henson. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren Taylor (Mayumi) House, Aubree (Eric) Dinsfriend, Abe (Liana) Moore, and Zoey Henson. Great grandchildren include Obadiah, Boaz, and Gideon Dinsfriend and Hanly and Hylah House.
Clayton is also survived by brothers Troy (Zelda) Henson and Glenn (Sundy) Henson, as well as sisters Shirley Boatright (deceased husband Fred) and Carol (Bob) Samman. Siblings gone before him are Georgia Henson, Doris (Larry) Stephens, Fern (Frank) Acosta, Bub Henson, Ruby (John) Brockman, Martin (Barbara) Henson. Clayton shared a great deal of love and laughter with his many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on May 2, 2024 at the Oak Pointe Assisted Living community room, 2601 Oak Ridge Ext., Neosho, from 4-6 pm.
