Hannah Guthrie

Hannah Spring Dawn Guthrie, age 36 of Diamond, Missouri passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024 at her home with family by her side.

She was born March 19, 1988 in Joplin, Missouri.

Hannah was a very special young lady who was always smiling, joyful and loving. She had a special way with animals and animals loved her. Hannah loved to spend time with her Golden Paw Pet Rescue family where she volunteered.








Hannah had worked for Dillons Grocery Store. She loved reading anime, animals, enjoyed scratchers, casinos, water parks and traveling. She attended Hope City Church. She graduated from Joplin High School.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Leedy (David), father, John Guthrie, two brothers, Johnny Guthrie, Matthew Guthrie, grandmothers, Vanda Lee Hallock and Pamela Leedy, Uncles, Milton Stapel (Karen), Jim Leedy (Kendra) Aunts, Myrene Carper, Drinda Milinac (Michael), DeVicka Wilhite (William), cousins Andy Yarger (Katie), Layne Stapel, Justin Carper (Kauri), Missie Carper (Jonathan), Ireland Milinac (Nick), Mclaren Milinac, Tristen Milinac, Will Wilhite, Kodie Wilhite, other Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, special friends Jackie Dorsey, Kristyn Smiles, Tashia Vickers and Susan Wise and her favorite companions Chico and Rocky.

She is preceded in death by her Grandpas, Fred Stapel, Robert Hallock, and James Leedy, Uncle Brent Stapel, Aunt Dianna Leedy and Grandparents Preston and Evelyn Guthrie.

Hannah received loving care from Ellie, Alisha, Doyle, Craig and Hannah her Gentiva Hospice.








Hannah would love for donations to be made to Golden Paw Rescue in her memory or to honor her by volunteering there.

A memorial visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 pm Friday April 26, 2024 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
