(From Ozark Funeral Home)Brian James Lucht, age 53, of Gravette, Arkansas, a cherished father, brother, and friend, departed this life on Tuesday evening, December 10, 2024, after a recent battle with cancer at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He entered this life on January 14, 1971, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late James Lucht and Kimberly Ann Jackson.
Brian's journey through life was as varied and rich as the interests that fueled his passions. He spent his formative years in California, Texas, and Louisiana before settling in Southwest City, Missouri, in 1995. In 2002, he found his way to Gravette, Arkansas, a place he would call home for the remainder of his years. Brian served his community as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Jay, Oklahoma.
A talented craftsman by trade, Brian's hands were rarely still. He found joy in the simple pleasure of creating, whether it was through woodworking or inventing. His love for nature was evident to all; he was an avid fisherman, a daring spelunker, and a true outdoorsman at heart. Brian's love for nature was only surpassed by his love for his family, whom he cherished above all else.
Brian's legacy is carried on by his loving family. He is survived by his three children, Olivia Lucht and her husband, Ethan Holmes, Schuyler Lucht, and London Lucht, all of Goodman, Missouri; three sisters, Alicia Drake and her husband, Jerry, of Grove, Oklahoma, Heather Cunningham and her husband, Adam, of Katy, Texas, and Jessica Brantner and her husband, Sean, of Strafford, Missouri; his best friend and mother of his children, Tiny Lucht, also of Goodman. Brian's warmth and generosity will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends who were blessed to know him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2-4:00 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ozark Funeral Home.
