Steven Frazer

Steven Charles Frazer, age 69, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his home.

Steven was born in San Francisco, CA, son of late Robert Lee Frazer and Mary Jane Martinez. He grew up in CA then later moving to McPherson KS where he completed police academy. He worked several years as a police officer in Kansas. He later worked for many years driving charter bus trips around America and Canada, before going to work for Greyhound bus lines, where he would travel the states with his children Jacob and Melissa.

He loved spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors. He was an avid model railroad collector and fisherman. He was a man of great devotion to his faith and had a passion for studying the word of God. He loved his family immensely and had a great sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by a son, Michael Frazer.

Survivors include his children, Melissa K. Christal (Dalton) of Morrilton AR, Jacob M. Frazer (Brigitte) of KCK, and Stephanie M Frazer of SC. Grandchildren Grace, Henry, and Scarlett. Sisters Connie Martin, Vickie Lee, and Donna Havel; Nephew Benjamin Brace, Niece Melody Havel, and several others.

A memorial service will be held at the Joplin Living Church of God on January 13th 2024.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
