(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jennifer O’Dell, 48, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away at 1:53 AM, on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Joplin, after a lengthy illness.
Jennifer was born on December 26, 1975, in Reno, Nevada. She had resided in the Joplin-Webb City area since 2017 moving from California where she had resided from 2009-2017.
She was of the Christian faith, she very much enjoyed crocheting, any type of crafting, she was a jumping spider enthusiast, she enjoyed bobbin lace, and she enjoyed collecting fountain pens.
She is survived by her fiancé, Ryan Dolstra of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters, Emma (Nathan) O’Dell and Natalie O’Dell both of Joplin, Missouri; her mother, Debra Pryor of Joplin, Missouri and Step-Dad, John Nicholas Sell of Farlington, Kansas; one brother, John Paul (Kylee) Sell of Fort Scott, Kansas; one sister, Christina (Greg) Bulow of Buckden, England; two granddaughters, Willow and Lyla Hays.
She was preceded in death by her later husband, Darrel Eugene O’Dell.
There will be a Memorial Service conducted at a later date by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory in Joplin, Missouri.
