Louise Housh

Louise Housh was born on July 5, 1934, one of two children born to Roy and Oleta (Hall) Goodnight. She entered into rest on August 7, 2026, in Sarcoxie, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 92.

Louise was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Diamond High School. She worked in the cafeteria at Diamond Schools and later as a teller at Diamond Bank until her retirement. She was a member of New Fairview Baptist Church and had a strong and steadfast faith. She enjoyed Bible drills and teaching the Bible and was a faithful servant of the Lord.






Louise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their activities. Louise was also a longtime member of the Gingham Gals Extension Club.

Louise and Carroll Housh shared seventy years together before Carroll's passing on February 3, 2022.

Survivors include two children, Leroy Housh and wife, Carie, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, and Carolyn Kinney and husband, Terry, of Diamond, Missouri; she was grandma to five grandchildren, Matt Housh and wife, Twyla, of Diamond, Missouri, Lora Frazier and husband, James, of Diamond, Missouri, Hailey Housh of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Wade Kinney of Diamond, Missouri, and Megan Kinney of Diamond, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Carl Goodnight of Carthage, Missouri.
