Nancy Dobson

Mrs. Nancy Kay Dobson, 76, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2020, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.

Nancy entered this life on January 10, 1944, daughter of the late Fred and Nova Nevins. She was born in Kansas and has resided in Joplin for the majority of her life. 

She worked as a housekeeper and as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was a member of New Creations Church in Joplin.

 

Her parents and one son, Troy Copher, preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her four children, Richard Copher of Joplin, Kimberly Copher of Joplin, Leona Copher of the state of Florida and Christophor Copher-Graves also of Joplin; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hoog, Jr. officiating. 

Arrangements are under the care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Mo.

Cathy Montz

Cathy Montz, 57, Neosho, MO entered into rest September 30, 2020. She was born November 13, 1962 in Chicago, IL to Glenn and Mary Delise (Fillinger) Fales. 

Cathy served in the US Army, then worked as a receptionist at Freeman Hospital. She enjoyed floating, the beach, and being outdoors. Cathy dearly loved her grandchildren. 

Cathy and Keith Montz were married June 18, 1994 in Neosho, MO; Keith survives of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Robert Humphrey of Neosho and Matthew Humphrey and wife, Stephanie of Indianapolis, IN; one step-son, Jeremy Montz and wife, Annie of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren. 

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Private memorial services will be held.
