Clyde Earl (Butch) Grimmett, age 66 of Carl Junction, MO, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
Born March 13, 1949 in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Clyde Elmer Grimmett and Reva Lansaw Grimmett and lived in the Joplin area most of his lifetime. He was a recruiter for Jack Cooper Transport. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah G. Grimmett of the home; a daughter, Christy Carter and husband Chris of Topeka, KS.
Private graveside services will be held at Osborne Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
