Waylon Jenson Nichols was born on February 5, 2016 at Children's Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri. After fighting a hard fight, Waylon passed away 5 days later on February 10.
Waylon is survived by his parents, Christopher Glenn Nichols of Carl Junction; mother, Melissa Lynn Baker of Joplin; brother, Jerriko Nichols of Carl Junction; maternal grandparents, Angela Wallace and partner, Anna of Joplin, Toney Baker of Joplin; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Nancy Nichols of Carl Junction.
Graveside services are planned for Monday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
