Marjorie Ann (Margie) Truex, age 81 of Joplin, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Quaker Hill Manor in Baxter Springs, KS after a long illness.
Born August 23, 1934 in Joplin, she was the daughter of the late Edgar E. Busick and Georgie Tomlinson Busick and was a lifetime Joplin resident. Margie was a seamstress for the former Miller Manufacturing Co. for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie DeHart and husband Michael of Joplin, Debbie Helton of Joplin; two sons, Paul Martin and wife Myrtle of Joplin, Jimmy Martin of Joplin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David Lee Martin and Donald Ray Martin.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary.
