Margie Lucille Stockton, 77, Neosho, died February 18, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born December 21, 1938 in Weir, Kansas, the daughter of Harrison and Mable (Bellman) Smith. Margie had worked as a cook at Neosho High School and then as a supervisor in the mail room at Neosho Daily News for 20 years. She was a loving wife and mother who never met a stranger and loved to cook.
Margie married Charles Stockton, and he survives. Also surviving is a son, Randy Harmon of Neosho. Margie is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty and Ruth and a grandson, Dustin Michael Harmon.
