Riley "Geno" Harnden age 77 of Wyandotte, Oklahoma formerly of Carterville, Missouri passed away Friday February 26, 2016 in Grove, Oklahoma following an illness.
He was born March 25, 1938 in Carterville, Missouri to Joseph and Bonnie Warren Harnden
Riley served 21 years in the military both in the United States Army and the United States Air Force.
He enjoyed being outside watching eagles fly and fishing.
Riley married Sandra "Jo" Hutchison on September 16, 1988 in Carterville, Missouri and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Stephen Haslip and wife Maranda, Carl Junction, Missouri, Butch Haslip and wife Barbi, Webb City, Missouri, Curtis Esterline and wife Christie, Germany; one sister Billie Breedlove, Carterville, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren plus one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jess Harnden, and one sister, Nancy Cody.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 am at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home prior to the service. Memorial graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Carterville Cemetery with Darin Youngberg pastor officiating.
