Gary Edward Middleton was born October 14, 1941 in San Diego, California and entered into rest on January 11, 2019 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 77.
Gary moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1960.
He moved to Stark City in 1980 from Kansas City and worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed coin collecting, computerized embroidery work and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Gary and Janean (Regan) were married on October 7, 1963 at the Northgate Baptist Church in Kansas City and she survives.
Additional survivors are three children, Suzanne Ross of Neosho, Brian Edward Middleton of Aurora and Ginger (Tim) Middleton-Martin of Stark City; one sister, Roberta K. Wright of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Katherine Middleton, who adopted him in 1947 and a brother, Larry Joe Middleton.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 at 1 pm at the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery.
