(From Parker Mortuary)Mary Caldwell, age 81, of Carl Junction, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Caldwell, daughter of the late Merle and Gladys Price, was born on November 10, 1939 in Waukesha, WI. On December 29, 1967 she was united in marriage to Albert Caldwell, in Santa Maria, CA.
Mary always enjoyed a good shopping trip or shopping on QVC. She was a talented writer and had previously authored children’s books. Mary was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family made up the entirety of her world. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Caldwell, of Carl Junction; one daughter, Jill Weeks, and her husband, David, of Webb City; three sons, Dean Caldwell, and his wife, Dolly, of Oklahoma, James Caldwell, of Carl Junction, and Richard Caldwell, of Wisconsin; one brother, David Price, of New York; grandchildren, Josh Harms, and his wife, Keesha, Faith Harms, Nick Harms, Jacob Harms, Keelin Caldwell, Kaili Caldwell, April Caldwell, Matthew Caldwell, Taylor Caldwell, Merlin Caldwell, Amanda Caldwell, and Daniel Caldwell, Brittney Caldwell and brothers Mathew and Steven Caldwell; three great grandchildren, Vera Chappell, Gwen Armentrout and Eden Caldwell; and her beloved little fur baby Tinkerbell, who never left her side. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her children, Dave and Sally Caldwell, Danny Caldwell, Jeff Caldwell, and Randee Caldwell.
A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
