(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Peggy Ann Zieske Mehls, age 65 of Joplin, MO. passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Freeman West following an illness.
Peggy was born on December 24, 1955, in Scobey, MT the daughter of Clarence and Arlys (Enochson) Zieske. She has been a long-time area resident, where she worked as a Care Taker for many years before her health forced her to retire. Peggy was known for her kindness and caring nature and most of all that she loved to have a good time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Shane Mehls, a brother, David Zieske, and a sister, Faith Fladager.
Peggy is survived by her son; Daniel Mehls of Joplin, two sisters; Kristi Pendergrass of Princeton, TX., Connie Lemieux of Kalmath Falls, OR., two brothers; Keith Zieske of Bellgrade, MT. and Butch Zieske of Richie, MT., and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends during a memorial visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
