(From Clark Funeral Home)Leo Intessimone was born December 25, 1935 in San Fernando Valley, California, one of three children to Joseph and Anna (Pellicatti) Intessimone. He entered into rest on Sept. 22, 2021 at his home in Granby, Missouri at the age of 85.
Leo was a barber and worked at Southside Barbershop and later worked as a custodian. He enjoyed traveling and being with his family and was a member of the Mt. Olive Church at Pioneer, Missouri.
Leo and Shirlene (Harrell) were married on June 25, 1955 in Butterfield, Missouri and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2008.
He is survived by eight children, Tony (Sherry) Intessimone of Pioneer, Missouri, Carla Intessimone of Kingsland, Arkansas, Tim (Deborah) Intessimone of Rogers, Arkansas, Carol (Kelly) Brattin of Granby, Missouri, Candy (Mark) Akin of Neosho, Missouri, Cris (Jim) Colston of Neosho, Missouri, Tom Intessimone of Neosho, Missouri and Ted (Crystal) Intessimone of Monett, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and special friends, Dorthea Wollaway.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Terry Intessimone, granddaughter, Ilyssa Intessimone, two grandsons, Tony Ray Intessimone and Trenton Intessimone; one brother, Frank Romeo Intessimone and one sister, Clara Looney.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Granby. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
