(From Parker Mortuary)Donie Russell, Joplin, having just celebrated her 97th birthday, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital.
Donie was born September 17, 1924 in Flippin, Arkansas, daughter of the late Earnest Huff and Meadow (Pace) Huff. She grew up in Flippin and graduated from Flippin High School. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who will certainly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Donie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Russell who passed away on June 6, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Kelly Russell and wife Suzanne of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Katie Russell and Scott Russell; three great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. She will be placed in Osborne Memorial Columbarium with her husband at a later date.
