(From Clark Funeral Home)Patricia (Pat) Sue Trenary, 76, Neosho, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. Pat was born January 18, 1945, to Everett Clyde and Emma Emelia (Meyer) Allman.
Pat grew up in Stark City, Missouri and graduated from Midway High School in 1963. While in school, Pat was a cheerleader. Pat went on to finish her education at Missouri Southern State University where she obtained her teaching degree in 1982.
Pat married her high school sweetheart, Ken Trenary on July 18, 1964, in Fairview, Missouri. Pat and Ken raised their family in Neosho where she was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church. Pat’s professional career was as a legal secretary for local attorneys in Newton County. Pat was an excellent seamstress and cook and loved spending time with her family. She had a passion for history and often spent her free time doing genealogical research on her family.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ken of the home; one daughter, Kristen (Greg) Stremel of Joplin; one son Jason (Sonya) Trenary of Lowell, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Ryan) Spetnagel, Andrew Trenary, and Alexander Stremel; two bonus granddaughters, Hope and Christian Weber; and numerous family and friends.
Pat was the youngest of three children. She was proceeded in death by her parents Everett and Emma Allman; brothers James Allman and Sherman (Bud) Allman.
A funeral service, under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Neosho United Methodist Church with Pastor Mitch Jarvis officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service. The casket will be closed at service time and will remain closed. Friends may visit Clark Funeral Home for viewing from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24 and from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 25.
