(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Faye Juanita Hill-Burton, age 101, of Duenweg, Missouri passed away Sunday September 26, 2021, at her home following a sudden illness.
She was born November 2, 1919, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Byron and Ida (Coons) Smith.
Faye was a 80+ year resident of Duenweg and was a member of the Assembly of God Church for almost 80 years. She loved making quilts and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one son, two brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.
Faye is survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and three great-great-great grandchildren.
Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers will be, Jacob Burton, Chase Burton, Matt Burton, Frank Burton, Chris Garrison, and Austin Garrison.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday October 4, 2021, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Alan McCamey officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
