(From Parker Mortuary)Kathryn “Kathy” K. Bettes, 72, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Freeman Hospital Joplin.
Kathy was born July 29, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri and adopted by the late James L. and Letha A. (Skelly) Morgan. Kathy was a lifelong resident of Joplin.
She graduated from Joplin High School in 1967 before attending Draughon Business College to study accounting. Kathy worked many years as a bookkeeper for various businesses
Kathy was an active member of Community Fellowship Church in Carterville, Missouri. She loved all animals especially her fur babies, and enjoyed her travels across the country. Kathy cherished the memories created with her family and friends. Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Dan King officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
