(From Parker Mortuary)Patricia Kay Morgan, age 53, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Patricia was born on September 14, 1967, in Arlington, Texas to the union of William and Viola (Munsterman) Morgan. She attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas.
After high school, she attended Crowder College, where she received her associate’s degree in nursing. Patricia then went on to further her education and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Patricia had a servant’s heart and loved the Lord. She enjoyed decorating her home in her free time, hosting parties, meeting new people, and laughing with all her friends and family. Patricia loved jewelry, planting in her garden, and Texas. She was well known for her southern accent and was proud to be a Texan girl. She made everyone feel welcome and, to her family, Patricia was the glue. Her children were her biggest accomplishment and she was extremely proud of all three of them.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mom, Viola Fay (Munsterman) Morgan.
She is lovingly survived by her three children, Kaylee Morgan, Treyton Moore, and Hudson Moore; two sisters, Sherri Newman and Joyce Morgan; two brothers, Billy Morgan Jr. and Mike Morgan; father, William Morgan; significant other, Derrick Dickey; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Christ's Church of Oronogo between 11:30am - 1pm with a memorial service to follow.
Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
