(From Lawson's Funeral Home)Frank Studebaker, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, in Grove, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Born on October 27, 1950, in Hollywood, Florida, Frank was the son of John Earl Studebaker and Corinne Elma Studebaker. He spent his early years in Hollywood before his family relocated to the Kentwood, Michigan area. Frank attended Kelloggsville High School, where he laid the foundation for his future adventures.
After graduation, Frank pursued a career as a truck driver, traversing the open roads with determination and skill. His journeys led him to various places, each mile etching stories of his experiences and encounters along the way.
Later in life, Frank settled in Grove, Oklahoma, where he found solace and contentment in the tranquil surroundings. It was here that he peacefully passed away, surrounded by the beauty of the place he called home.
Frank's memory will forever be cherished by his son, Christopher Kent Studebaker of Bertram, TX, and daughter, Samantha Lynn Studebaker, and her husband, Ritchie Holcomb of Bismarck, AR. He is also survived by his siblings: Connie Conner and husband Kevin Conner of Grove, OK; Sue Balcom of Webb City, MO; John Studebaker, Jr. & wife Susan of Muskegon, MI., Donald Studebaker of Joplin, MO and Jim Studebaker whose current whereabouts are unknown.
In addition to his immediate family, Frank leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss his warm smile, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love.
Frank's zest for life extended beyond his work, as he found joy in the simple pleasures. Whether he was striking a bargain for a great deal, attending live music concerts, or spending time with his grandpuppies, Frank lived each day to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and gratitude.
Though Frank may have embarked on his final journey, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and forever cherished.
Frank's Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK 74344.
All who knew and loved him are invited to join in honoring his memory.
