Gary Beach

(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)

Gary Allen Beach was born June 15, 1959 in Kansas City, MO and passed away April 8, 2024 in Carthage, MO. He graduated in 1977 from Center High School where he did well in his studies and enjoyed being a member of the marching Yellowjacket band playing his trombone.

After high school he worked through his union at Prior Brass, Wel-Cote and Davis Paint.

While living in Kansas City the first 56 years of his life he was a dedicated member of the Grandview Church of Christ. He also enjoyed playing softball, shooting a game of pool and going to a good concert. There were many backyard basketball games and front yard baseball games with his brothers and friends.

Gary enjoyed life in the city but really anticipated the weekends when he could head to the country in southwest Missouri and spend time hunting and fishing with his uncles, cousins, dad and brothers. He was an avid turkey hunter and spent much time in the woods perfecting his craft. Gary also looked forward to his annual pheasant hunt in western Kansas with family.

When Gary met and married Laura he dedicated himself to being a good husband and treated Laura’s children with kindness and love. Together he and Laura enjoyed trips to bed and breakfasts throughout Missouri. Laura’s love and patience allowed Gary to continue to enjoy activities in the great outdoors and with his family. They have lived in Carthage, MO the past eight years where Gary was a member of the Carthage Church of Christ.

Gary is survived by his wife, Laura Beach and her children Kyla and Jason; his mother, June Beach; brother, Mickey (Martha) Beach and children Britney, Mickey Jr, Tricia and Amanda; and brother, Joe Dee (Trish) Beach and children Shelby and Shanie. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Lorene Freeze, Jimmy and Sandra Freeze, Joe and Sharon Freeze, Larry and Vera Beach, Terry and Mary Ellen Beach, and Danny and Martha Beach; as well as many valued cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Beach; grandparents, Jim and Lyndell Freeze; grandparents, Gerald and Leona Beach; uncle, Jack Freeze; and cousins, Jackie Freeze and Robert Beach.
