(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)James Patrick Laramore, son of Patrick and Dorothy Laramore, was born in Orange County, California, on June 5th, 1968, and departed his life April 3rd, 2024, in Baxter Springs, KS at the age of 55 years old.
James was preceded in death by his father Patrick Laramore and Mother Dorothy Laramore, and niece Crystal Fisher.
On December 31st, 1990, he was united in marriage with Laura Kay Vance, and to this union was born three children, all surviving.

James was employed at Tamko for many years and served as a cable technician in Longview, TX until 2019. His hobbies included playing guitar and singing, cheering on his favorite NFL team the LA Chargers, video games, reading and studying biblical literature, general home renovations including masonry, however, nothing compared to spending time with his children and telling everyone he knew about their musical talents.
James became a born again Christian in the early 90’s and was a devout Christian for the remainder of his earthly life. He served the Lord by volunteering at Galena Assembly of God through their prison and nursing home ministries. He also served as a youth pastor at 1st Assembly of God in Carl Junction, MO. He helped many people come to the Lord and told all that he knew that God is love.
James is survived by his son, James Patrick Laramore II and wife Kelsey of Carl Junction; son William Paul Laramore of Joplin; daughter Madeline Laramore of Joplin; sister Patty Keyser of Galena, KS, brother Bill Laramore of Jefferson City, MO; nieces Stephanie Laramore, Trish Scott, Danielle Barnes, and Lillian Brown; nephews Charlie Laramore and William Brown; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

Services will be held at Christ Point Church in Galena, KS Friday, April 12th, 2024, at 7:00pm.
