(From Parker Mortuary)Juanita Pauline Carpenter, 86, of Joplin, was called home to Heaven on April 3, 2024, from the Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, Missouri, while surrounded by her children. She was born on October 20, 1937 in Lineville, Iowa to the late Paul and Wanda (Bright) Wilson.
She was a retired Accounting Representative for Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia, Mo. She enjoyed spending time with her horses and antique dealing along with a love of keeping her children in line…especially Trace!! She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri.
Pauline is survived by daughters: Phyllis Anderson, Billie Tran (Thien), Terry Dawson (Tom); son, Trace Carpenter; and by 7 Grandchildren. There is a host of Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Pauline is survived by brothers, Kenny Wilson (Judy), Sam Wilson, George Thomlinson (Holly), Danny Thomlinson, Tim Thomlinson; sister, Rita Brown and sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson.
Pauline was preceded in death by parents, Paul Wilson, Wanda and George Thomlinson; brothers, Charles and Jim Wilson; sister, Marlene Wilson; and daughter, Sharon Johnson.
Visitation for Pauline will be held at 11:00 AM on April 13th at the Mercer Methodist Church, 22805 Main St., Mercer, MO 64661. Funeral service will be held immediately following. Burial will be held following funeral services at the Early Cemetery in Mercer, Missouri. Luncheon will be held at the Mercer Methodist Church following the burial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, 2425 S Mina Ave, Joplin, Missouri 64804. Donations can be made in care of Pauline Carpenter.
