(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sara Lynn Johnson, who left us on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 56.
Sara was a beloved sister and friend, known for her quiet strength and caring heart. Though she may not have sought the spotlight, her gentile presence was a source of comfort and warmth to all who knew her.
Sara was preceded in death by her loving parents, Diane Brumback and Gary Sweeten, Sr., and her cherished sister, Sherrie Koronis.
Her memory will be forever honored and cherished by her husband; Leonard Johnson, her children and step-children; Michael Wood, Bobby Wood, Latricia Johnson and Lennie Johnson, her grandchildren; Shelbie, Ashley, Sherrie, Nixon, Chase, Laura and Micheal Wood, Jr., her siblings; Gary Sweeten, Jr., James Luckey, Jaime Smith and Bonnie Luckey, along with an abundance of friends.
The family invites you to join them in a during a time of visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7th at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. A graveside service has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8th, 2024 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri, where we will say our final goodbyes and celebrate her life.
In this time of grief, we find solace in knowing that Sara is at peace. We will hold her in our hearts forever.
