(From Ozark Funeral Home)Jason Emerson Fickel, Jr., 76, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He entered this life on July 11, 1948 in Menomonie, Wisconsin, born to the late, Jason Emerson Fickel, Sr. and LaVonne Jeannette (Stilson) Fickel. He married Sandra Lajuna Brittain on February 10, 1968 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin and to this union two sons were born. Jason worked for the Bella Vista POA, Street Department. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Lajuna Fickel; sister, Judy Kemp and Jeannie Ames.
He is survived by his sons, James Fickel and wife, Susan of Pineville, Missouri, DeWayne Fickel of Anderson, Missouri; grandsons, Drey Fickel and wife, Courtni of Neosho, Missouri, Dayson Fickel of Fayetteville, Arkansas; great granddaughter, Chandler Fickel of Neosho, Missouri; siblings, Maurice fickle and wife, Debby of Anderson, Missouri, Rosemary Black and husband, Ronnie and Edith Dean, all of Jay, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, patty McCammon and husband, Scott of Lanagan, Missouri; many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of family and friends and extended family who will dearly miss Jason.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri.
Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are his sons and grandsons, James Fickel, DeWayne Fickel, Drey Fickel and Dayson. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Sunday, August 25, 2024 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.
